Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how Casino Apps NZ (casino-apps.nz) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit the website. We handle personal information in line with New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020. Casino Apps NZ is an information site about casino apps and online casinos. We do not run any games and we do not handle gambling accounts, deposits or withdrawals.

In short: we collect as little information about you as possible. We do not use advertising networks, behavioural tracking, a newsletter or analytics tools such as Google Analytics. The only information we handle is what you choose to send us by email, plus a small amount of technical information needed to keep the website running securely.

Last updated: October 2026.

Who is responsible for your information

Casino Apps NZ is represented by the website’s owner, who is responsible for the personal information handled through the site and for answering privacy questions.

If you have a question about how your information is handled, you can reach us through our contact page.

What personal information we collect

Information you send us by email

When you email us, we handle:

  • your email address
  • your name, if you give it
  • the content of your message
  • any other details you choose to include

Please do not send us casino account details, identity documents or payment information. We have no use for them and cannot help with operator accounts.

Technical information collected automatically

When you visit the website, some technical information is collected automatically through our hosting provider, Hetzner, and our security and delivery service, Cloudflare:

  • IP address – used to deliver the pages and protect against misuse
  • Browser type and version
  • Operating system
  • Referring page (the page you came from)
  • Time of the visit
  • Pages visited on the website

This information is collected through server logs and necessary cookies. It is used only to keep the website running and to protect it against technical attacks, not to build a profile of you as a visitor.

We do not ask for or knowingly collect sensitive information, such as details about your health, finances or gambling activity.

Cookies

We use necessary cookies only. These are needed for the website to work and to be delivered securely. Because we do not use cookies for statistics, advertising or tracking, we do not ask for cookie consent.

The necessary cookies on the site come from:

  • Cloudflare – security and delivery, for example telling real visitors apart from automated traffic
  • LiteSpeed Cache – caching cookies that help pages load faster
  • WordPress – core cookies needed for the website to function

We do not use:

  • Google Analytics or other visitor analytics tools
  • advertising cookies or behavioural tracking
  • social media plugins that track visitors
  • cookies of our own for marketing or profiling

If a page includes content embedded from another website, such as a video, that provider may set its own cookies when the content loads or plays. Those cookies are governed by the provider’s own policy.

You can delete existing cookies and block future ones at any time in your browser settings. Bear in mind that blocking necessary cookies may affect how the website works. More detail is in our cookie policy.

Links to gambling operators

Some links from this site to gambling operators are commercial (affiliate) links. The link itself tells the operator that the visit came from casino-apps.nz. We do not set tracking cookies for this purpose and we do not pass your name, email address or any other personal details to an operator.

Once you follow a link to an operator or any other external website, that website’s own privacy and cookie policies apply. We are not responsible for how other websites handle your information.
